With over a decade of experience, Design Inside are dynamic and forward-thinking cabinetry designers, specializing in the residential and retail market. With a focus on form and function, we create custom designs, tailored to meet the needs and requirements of each individual client and the aesthetic of the home or shop.
Based in Port Elizabeth, we operate throughout the entire country, and have been privileged over the years to have been involved with many projects, from along the Garden Route through to Johannesburg.

DESIGN SERVICES
Innovative, Creative Design
From conceptualization through to completion, Design inside removes many of the burdensome headaches from our clients. We do all the leg-work involved in obtaining various quotations for every aspect of the project that fall within our scope of works. Once all quotations have been received, we present a comprehensive package to the client and assist the client in making an informed decision.
Part of our service is managing the project from awarding of the project to the various role players to managing through to completion.
Residential designs (kitchens, bedrooms, bars, studies, libraries, TV units)
Retail designs (store design and layouts)
Consultation, which includes dealing with various stakeholders and obtaining all necessary and relevant quotations for the project, from cabinetry and worktops through to electrical, plumbing and whatever else fall within the scope of the projects.
Project Management – facilitating the installation from commencement to completion.
What we do
The Process
We’ve all heard the phrase “comparing apples-with-apples”. Unfortunately, that is seldom achieved. At designinside however, this is exactly what we offer our clients – the chance to “compare apples-with-apples”. How? By using designinside to design your new kitchen, wardrobe, shop, etc, all our quotations are based on the same design and the same specifications. We deal with a select group of cabinetmakers, electricians, plumbers, etc, which allows us to offer you – the client, an “apples-with-apples” comparison, without you having to contact anyone – hassle-free! Besides our custom designs, we also manage the entire project right through to completion. What does that mean for you: peace of mind. By using designinside, you only deal with one individual – from design through to completion. We oversee your project and communicate all relevant information, not only to you, but also to the various stakeholders in the project, to ensure a successful project. However, should you only need our design expertise, we also offer design as a stand-alone service. Once the design has been finalized, we will provide you with the necessary drawings and specifications which will allow you to get your own quotations and arrange your own team.

T h e C o n s u l t a t i o n
To understand your requirements, we conduct a thorough consultation with you. This involves discussing many aspects of your project to ensure that your living space is customized to suite your needs.
D e s i g n
Using all the information collected from our consultation, we begin with the conceptualization of the cabinetry to suite the living space. Drawing on years of design experience as well as using internationally accepted design standards, we use the information collected from our consultation with you to begin conceptualizing the cabinetry to suite your living space. Everything from form and function to zone planning and ergonomics is considered at each stage of the design process.
P r e s e n t a t i o n & F i n a l i z a t i o n
Using hi-resolution 3D images, you get the opportunity to see photo-realistic views of your new living space. Once further customization of your living space is discussed and finalized, including budget requirements, we proceed to the confirmation phase.

This is where all the documentation is signed.
P r o j e c t M a n a g e m e n t
Once the agreement is finalized and final designs confirmed, we begin managing your project as per the agreed scope of works (this phase lasts until final sign-off and hand-over). To ensure that the final plans correspond to the original plans, final measurements are taken. Final technical drawings are then produced and communicated through to all the relevant stakeholders in the project, while ensuring that all the critical items, such as water and electrical points, are correctly positioned. Installation time frames are also communicated to the stakeholders, as well as any other required information. The site is regularly visited, and progress assessed to ensure that your investment can be delivered and installed without incurring damages

The final phase. Once all works have been completed to your satisfaction, you will be asked to sign-off the project, knowing that designinside has delivered to you a quality product, backed by professional service.
